Paper based interaction |
Paper continues to be used in large volumes inspite of futuristic predictions of a paperless world. The affable nature of paper makes it widely accepted, highly affordable, technology agnostic and unplugged. From an interaction perspective paper provides the simplest interface possible. With the widespread advent of imaging devices there is a new opportunity to simplify and augment electronic interactions using paper as an additional modality. The Paper Based Interaction work at HP Labs India aspires to create unique and novel set of technologies to enable new types of interaction between paper and the digital world with a focus on simplifying end user experiences.
