The HP 9000 Series 700 J-class workstations provide up to 2-way symmetric multiprocessing, while the HP 9000 Series 800 K-class servers (technical servers, file servers) and HP 3000 Series 9x9KS business-oriented systems provide up to 4-way symmetric multiprocessing.
