Abstract: Spice is a programming language suitable for occasional programmers working with text, HTML, and XML, while scaling to medium-sized projects with several experienced programmers. It is an expression- oriented language with multiple values, dynamic typing, automatic storage management, and multiply- dispatched methods. This document contains a general introduction to the language by example, suitable for readers with some programming experience, and a reference manual describing the language in detail.
