Embedded Distributed Systems Research extends techniques and tools
from large scale distributed systems to the design, development and deployment
of embedded multi-processor appliances (such as printers, cameras, scanners).
Our research focuses on dimensions accentuated in connected embedded systems
such as piece-wise versioning, re-entrancy, memory footprint/allocation,
security, hardware abstraction, and long-term appliance reliability.
