Fields of Interest

Image Processing: morphological or linear methods, fixed or adaptive, linear or nonlinear filtering, enhancement, imaging.

Image Analysis: segmentation, feature extraction, pattern recognition, edge detection, etc.

Image Representation: fourier transform, subband decomposition, wavelet transform, fractal methods, multi-resolution pyramids, morphological pyramids.

Image coding of documents or grayscale images, using transform, prediction, vector or scalar quantization, segmentation, etc., or JPEG, MPEG, JBIG, or other standards.
