Abstract: World Wide Web has unleashed people's imagination. A plethora of technologies have come up. As these technologies have sprung up to address different issues it has become imperative to understand how these different technologies fit together. This paper presents the state of the art of these different technologies and tries to present a coherent vision of their interoperation.
