Submission

Please click here to submit your paper. If you have a problem to get access by clicking, the submission server is at https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=imacc2011. The information on how to submit a paper to easyChair can be found at the easyChair web server.

 Submission format:

  • The submission should be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious references.

  • Note: papers which have already been posted on eprint or arxiv may still be submitted to the conference. Anonymity of submissions only means that the submitted paper does not have author name/affiliation information. For more discussion about this issue see here under "On anonymous conference submissions".

  • The length of the submission should be at most 15 pages excluding bibliography and appendices. It should be in single column format, use at least 11-point fonts, and have reasonable margins. Committee members are not required to read appendices; the paper should be intelligible without them.

  • The submission should begin with a title and a short abstract. The introduction should summarize the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. The introduction should also give motivation for the results and indicate why the paper makes a research contribution; it is the author's job to convince the committee of the merit of their paper.

  • Papers should be submitted electronically by 23:59 GMT on Friday June 24, 2011. It is likely that submissions will be accepted up to and including Sunday June 26, but I make no guarantee that the web server will stay running for the whole weekend, so that is your own risk :)

  • Proceedings versions of papers must be prepared using Latex and using the llncs class file, so authors are strongly recommended to use this system for their submissions. It will be helpful to the editors if authors use the default llncs and latex2e settings, rather than using non-standard fonts, character sets or excessively complicated macros. For guidelines about preparing papers for the Springer LNCS series please see here.

  • Submitted papers must be in PDF format and should be submitted electronically. Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits. Neither late submissions, submissions by email, nor hardcopy submissions will be accepted. Authors unable to submit electronically should contact the program chair by June 22, 2011.
