Abstract: This article discusses the experience of the Hewlett-Packard Laboratories' Research Library with the Internet and the Mosaic browser for the World Wide Web. It describes the early development of the Library's home page, the Library services available to users at their desktops, the use of Mosaic as a reference tool for the Library's information analysts, and plans for future Library products and services using the Internet.
