Biography
Chetan is currently working on analyzing large volumes of fast moving streams for identifying and acting upon complex events and patterns, a technology that will be key to the next generation of business intelligence. Prior to the current focus, at HPL, Chetan has worked on workload management for large Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW's) and data mining. Chetan has published papers and patents in the area of data mining, algorithms, complex events processing, situational awareness, workload management, etc.
Chetan Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC), and Masters in Mathematical Computer Science and Chemical Engineering from UIC.
