Biography

Andrey Simanovsky works at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories Russia. He obtained his Diploma on Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science from the St Petersburg State University, Russia, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. In the past, he has worked in industry in JetBrains sro. software company. His research interests include information extraction focusing on NLP techniques for synonym mining and named entity recognition, collaborative filtering based recommender systems, etc.
