Biography
I work at HP Research Labs in Bristol on a range of projects in the fields of web application design, information architecture, multimedia distribution and cloud computing amongst others. I have an MEng in Computer Science from the University of Bristol where I hold the position of Visiting Fellow, working as a project supervisor.
My main areas of technical interest include Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, digital media formats and protocols, Hadoop, bluetooth, P2P.
I also act as a technical consultant for the Encounters Short Film Festival , based in Bristol.
I enjoy mountain biking & martial arts and also play football and squash as often as I can.
In my personal time I maintain www.swindonviewpoint.com a site which I also designed and developed.
Research interests
I work in the area of Interactive Media, supervising and managing research and development projects
