Keyword(s):

Abstract: This document presents an overview of the computational model embodied in the ISO draft international standards for the management of open systems. These standards define an object-oriented systems architecture to support management applications interoperating in networks of heterogeneous systems. This report was prepared as background material for a comparison of the object models of several object-oriented technologies. Familiarity with systems management is not assumed.
