Biography

Dr. Karni is a senior research scientist in HP's Printing Automation Lab, focused on providing technology and software applications to deliver digital printing solutions that are more reliable, provide higher print quality and offer better levels of automation.

Dr. Karni received the BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and the BA degree in Computer Science both from the Technion in 1996 and 1997 respectively. He received the PhD degree in Computer Science from the Technion in 2004. He was a post-doc at the Max-Planck Institut fur Informatik in the years 2004-6. Dr. Karni is an adjunct lecturer in the computer science department at the Technion, member of ACM SIGGRAPH and chairing the SIGGRAPH Local Chapter in Israel.
