Biography

Suksant is a researcher in the Cloud and Security Lab focusing on different aspects of cloud computing such as networking, monitoring and integrating heterogeneous platforms. At HP Labs, Suksant works primarily on cloud federation and large scale networking areas.

He was a member of the Communications and Information Systems Group (CISG) at University College London (UCL) working on various topics related to network reliability. This includes resilient routing, congestion control and energy-efficient operations, which focus on prolonging the lifetime of portable devices.

Apart from his research activities, Suksant is also active in two EU-funded projects: 1) BonFIRE, a project which aims to provide testbeds for the future Internet research and experimentation and 2) SAIL, a project that attempts to design architectures for the networks of the future. He was previuosly involved in AGAVE, which proposed a lightweight end-to-end QoS for IP networks.
