Biography

Sagi is a researcher in the Information Analytics Lab.

 His main research interests focus on developing image processing and computer vision on commodity graphics cards (GPUs). Sagi holds a Ph.D degree in computer graphics and geometric computing from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His Ph.D thesis focused on the applications of multivariate B-spline functions to computer graphics, computer aided geometric design and medical imaging. From 1999 to 2001 Sagi served as senior software engineer for Qualcomm Israel, specializing in cellular communication. From 1997-1999, Sagi worked as a software engineer at KLA-Tencor where he developed computer vision algorithms and GUI for large scale inspection systems.
