Doron Shaked

Biography

Doron Shaked is a principal researcher in HP Labs Israel, the Haifa-based facility of HP Laboratories. Doron has been with HP Labs since 1995. He served in a series of roles from individual contributor through project lead and research manager. Doron and his team have developed state-of-the-art technologies in such areas as color half-toning, fully-automated image enhancement, and print quality assurance. Those technologies are included in HP commercial printing products. He also took part in an initiative to extend image analysis to automate HP's Application Lifecycle Management business.

Doron Shaked graduated with a BSc. cum laude in electrical and computer engineering from the Ben Gurion University in 1988. He received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) in 1991 and 1995 respectively.

 

Research interests

Doron’s research interests include imaging, color science, and printing algorithms, and more recently machine learning and large system analytics.
