Biography

Dr. Daihua Zhang is a Senior Project Scientist of the Digital Commercial Printing Lab (DCPL). He joined HP Labs in 2006 after receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from University of Southern California. His research focused on the synthesis and fabrication of functional nanostructures, as well as their applications in electronics, chemical sensing, and nano-therapy. His expertise in microscopic analysis, nanofabrication, and micro electrical-mechanical systems is a great asset of the DCPL team and brings unique and indispensable research capability to current and future projects.  He received B.S. degree in Physics from Peking University in 2001 and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California in 2004. He is the author of more than 50 research articles, which have been cited for nearly 3000 times by academic publications in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
